Lucas Bambozzi

Lucas Bambozzi is an artist and a new media researcher producing installations, single channel videos and interactive projects. His works have been shown in solo and collective shows in more than 40 countries, held by organizations such as Moma in USA, ZKM, Frankfurter Kunstverein and ISEA-Ruhr in Germany, Laboral and Arco’s Expanded Box in Spain, Http Gallery in London, Havana Biennale in Cuba, ŠKUC gallery in Slovenia, WRO Media Art Biennale in Poland, Centre Georges Pompidou in France, ZERO1 Biennial in the USA, Bienal de Artes Mediales in Chile and many venues in Brazil, including the São Paulo Biennale. Participated in film and video festivals such as Sundance, Slamdance, FID Marseille, Videobrasil, It’s All True Festival, Impakt, Festival do Rio BR, Share Festival Italy, FILE, On-Off and many others. Was awarded twice by the Vitae Foundation Arts Program and was acknowledged in 2012 with the prestigious Sergio Motta Prize. He is one of the initiators of the arte.mov Festival (2006-2012), the exhibition Multitude (Sesc Pompeia (2014) the Labmovel (2012-2016) and the AVXLab projects. Lucas is engaged in critical approaches on informational spaces in public realm. Currently he is a doctorate candidate at FAUUSP and teaches at FAAP in São Paulo.
