Chi Jen Li
Chi Jen Li is a graduate student at College of Architecture and Landscape of Peking University. She work now focuses on urban design and ecological infrastructure planning to respond urbanization issues of China. Before coming to PKU, Chi Jen Li research about community renovation also the connection between countryside and urban area in Taiwan. In 2013, she received the first price for landscape design student competition of World Design Capital Taipei 2016. She is a landscape architecture, an amateur social photographer and traveler.
STATEMENT
City is kind of medium like art which carry the value schema of people nowadays. With urbanizing rapidly and new technology been inventing, digital media played an important role to make an impact on citizens’ images of future life in urban system. I have been focusing on how new media represent, express and create modern city life and also how people to fit themselves in this world with human senses.
